“Daisy,” our friendly brown cow produced about the best organic milk – raw, of course – I have tasted in my 90-plus years of drinking milk. My mother provided me with raw milk for my first years, so I began early in life thriving on raw milk—still am!
So what’s this I’ve been hearing about raw milk being dangerous, “a killer”?
It’s been claimed that some folks became ill and died after drinking raw milk? Other than circumstantial, where’s the evidence? The proof? What about the millions of us who didn’t get sick or die after drinking raw milk—not just once, but for years? Just think about the incongruity of the charges being made by raw milk fear mongers. Simply because the milk had not been pasteurized and thus was a carrier of bacteria!
Fact: Even pasteurized milk is not devoid of bacteria! Check it out.
All living food has bacteria on/in it. As a living food (not killed by pasteurization), raw milk has provided nutritious, staple nutrition for mankind for thousands of years! What makes milk so beneficial? It possesses:
- · Calcium & other minerals, protein and nutrients; all very assimilable
- · The living enzymes (found only in raw milk) enable milk to digest itself
- · Lactose intolerant? This is rare with raw milk
